Manager, Video Content and Strategic Partnership

Job Description:

In this ever-evolving position, you're going to be our go-to for the day-to-day execution of establishing YI channel and build YI content creator groups. You will help promote fans creative contents, work with most exciting content creators to promote the use of advanced VR cameras, Google Jump Daydream platforms, Facebook live streaming… You also need to manage paid digital and influencer campaigns and programs. You'll help strategize and plan activations that will drive the most buzz, engagement and conversion. Candidates should have experience in quantitative online video analytics or other digital analytics field. Reporting to the Vice President, this position is located in Palo Alto, CA.

Responsibilities

Live streaming and 360 VR contents: (30%)

• Work with Facebook living streaming product to understand the trends and evolving content creators of 360 videos;

• Support content creators to help product great quality videos or live streaming by using YI 360 camera or YI HALO, and collaborating with Google Daydream platform, Facebook live streaming platform etc.;

Strategy and execution(30%)

• Develop, manage, execute YI YouTube channel strategy and paid digital and influencer campaigns and strategy, including brand-direct and agency partnerships.

• Conceptualize additional activations to generate tons of digital

influencer/consumer advocate love and brand buzz in social -- then do whatever it takes to execute your vision.

• Manage the relationships and program-specific needs for all content partners;

• Responsible for managing paid media spend budget.

• Collaborate with regional stakeholders on market-specific influencer initiatives.

Research and Relationships (20%)

• Endlessly dig into digital influencer activity across the social-sphere (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat) to report on trends, content and collaborations.

• Monitor all social platforms (specifically Instagram and Twitter) on a regular basis to ensure consistent contact with all applicable influencers, including sending products, adding additional influencers to master lists, etc.

• Analyze competitive programming for beauty subscription boxes.

Influencer Social (20%)

• Conduct ongoing community management for influencer content across all social platforms on a daily basis.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS Degree; 5 year experience in related role

• Experience with creating and curating video content; Experience with content management systems

• You're a digital addict who's obsessed with following brands and influencers in social, especially on the next hot platform.

• Innovation and creative problem-solving are just two of your top strengths.

• You're known to think fast on your feet and find solutions when others may see a dead end.

• Both internal teams and external agencies love working with you because you're highly organized and detail-oriented when it comes to project/campaign management.

• You consider yourself left- and right-brained with analytical skills to evaluate program effectiveness and strong creative judgment to recognize what's on-brand.

• You can think strategically, while still always executing in a fast-paced environment.
