We recommend that you update your camera firmware regularly. Some of the new features added in the new version of app can only be supported by the updated firmware.
Normally YI Home camera updates the firmware online via YI Home Camera App, no manually work needed.
If the Wi-Fi is working fine, but you are experiencing any kind of problems as below: no voice prompts since power on, App can’t pair the camera, App connection always fails, the status LED is always yellow or flashing, etc. It’s recommended to try to manually update the latest firmware to fix it.
